The fish grow happily and sometimes reach more than 1m50. In this area there are still trees that are hundreds of years old, some of which are in danger of extinction. Among others, the shihuahuaco and the mahogany are the first victims of this intensive and uncontrolled cutting outside the reserve.<\/p>\n<p>This year the pressure on the area is stronger than ever, the economic situation of the country is weakened by the current health crisis and many inhabitants of the region are looking for means of subsistence.
