See green and red macaws flying freely in their natural ecosystem<\/h3>\n

\"projet_aras_2015<\/a>This is an opportunity that the Fundacion del Rio, with the support of Envol Vert offers to a few people who love birds and have the will to contribute to their conservation.
\nFrom May 8 to 11, 2015 for the second occasion was realized a trip of observation of the Macaws “Macaw Adventure”. Its objective is to promote the conservation of the habitat of these beautiful birds and at the same time help the families of farmers “nest keepers” (who have active nests in the trees of their farms) to obtain other economic resources through the sale of food and accommodation services for the participants.
\nOn this occasion the group was composed of professional photographers, national and local tourist guides, tour operators and national and international journalists.
\nDuring the visit that was made, the participants were able to observe 5 nests of Red Macaws and Green Macaws in 2 communities (Bijagua, Bartola) but also toucans, parakeets, howler monkeys, spider signs, poison frogs and snakes.
\n“For me it was an exciting and adventurous experience, to be able to see macaws flying over my head and the chicks calling their parents, it was a lot of emotion,” said Rene Lucia Ramos of the Spanish news agency EFE.
