“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”, Nelson Mandela. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>

We thus carried out a workshop with the children of Santa Lucia and Mahuizo on the theme of growth and the benefits of plants. Between games, explanations and drawings, a total of 50 children learned about the water cycle, the life of the soil, the needs of plants to grow… In small cardboard egg boxes, each child was invited to sow seeds of cucumbers, tomatoes, Chinese onions and ? Armed with new knowledge, their objective is to maintain (without pesticides) their future young shoots until we return in May!<\/span><\/p>\n

In view of their involvement, we are confident that we will be able to prepare a salad for them using the fruits of their labour.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>

As\u00ed, realizamos un taller con los ni\u00f1os de Santa Luc\u00eda y Mahuizo sobre el tema del crecimiento y los beneficios de las plantas. Entre juegos, explicaciones y dibujos, un total de 50 ni\u00f1os aprendieron sobre el ciclo del agua, la vida de la tierra, las necesidades de las plantas para crecer… En peque\u00f1as hueveras de cart\u00f3n, cada ni\u00f1o pudo sembrar semillas de pepinos, tomates, cebollas chinas y caiguas; armados con nuevos conocimientos, el objetivo fue mantener (sin pesticidas) los futuros brotes \u00a1hasta que volvamos en mayo!<\/span><\/p>\n
