This alternative should be developed in <a href=\"https:\/\/envol-vert.org\/en\/sit\/puerto-asis-putumayo\/\">Puerto As\u00eds<\/a> in Colombia and <a href=\"https:\/\/envol-vert.org\/en\/sit\/iparia-ucayali\/\">Ucayali<\/a> in Peru, and would enable the marketing of products derived from ancestral medicinal knowledge, which has been passed down from generation to generation, particularly within indigenous communities.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In fact, on both sites, the communities of Pi\u00f1una Blanco and Iparia, in Colombia and Peru respectively, have extensive knowledge of nature, the various plants and their medicinal virtues. For example, the u\u00f1a de gato ( <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Uncaria tomentosa<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) is a medicinal liana with anti-inflammatory properties, the aguaje fruit (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mauritia flexuosa<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) has antioxidant properties, and the hibiscus flower water has a proven role in the preventive treatment of hypertension.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Developing an economic activity related to medicinal plants in these communities could enable them to diversify their income and thus improve their living conditions, while at the same time enhancing the value of ancestral and traditional knowledge that is often gradually lost over the generations.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":52954,"parent":0,"template":"","prod_category":[2031],"class_list":["post-52900","produit","type-produit","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","prod_category-conbosque-project"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/envol-vert.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/produit\/52900","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/envol-vert.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/produit"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/envol-vert.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/produit"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/envol-vert.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/52954"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/envol-vert.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=52900"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"prod_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/envol-vert.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/prod_category?post=52900"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
