But Envol Vert, more than ever, remains mobilised both on the ground and in its advocacy and awareness-raising activities.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-title title fusion-title-1 sep-underline sep-solid fusion-title-text fusion-title-size-four\" style=\"--awb-margin-top-small:0px;--awb-margin-right-small:0px;--awb-margin-bottom-small:0px;--awb-margin-left-small:0px;\"><h4 class=\"fusion-title-heading title-heading-left fusion-responsive-typography-calculated\" style=\"margin:0;--fontSize:16.8;--minFontSize:16.8;line-height:1.29;\"><div class=\"fusion-fa-align-left\"><i class=\"fb-icon-element-1 fb-icon-element fontawesome-icon fa-seedling fas circle-no\" style=\"--awb-iconcolor:#3aaa35;--awb-font-size:30px;--awb-margin-bottom:5%;\"><\/i><\/div>A quick overview:<\/p><\/h4><\/div><ul style=\"--awb-iconcolor:#ea773d;--awb-line-height:23.8px;--awb-icon-width:23.8px;--awb-icon-height:23.8px;--awb-icon-margin:9.8px;--awb-content-margin:33.6px;\" class=\"fusion-checklist fusion-checklist-1 fusion-checklist-default type-icons\"><li class=\"fusion-li-item\" style=\"\"><span class=\"icon-wrapper circle-no\"><i class=\"fusion-li-icon fa-angle-right fas\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><\/span><div class=\"fusion-li-item-content\">\n<p>In Peru, the Caf\u00e9 y Cacao Forestal project has launched a particularly strong <strong>training programme<\/strong> that brings together the various project sites, while the <strong>RAFIAS (Red Agroforestal de Intercambio y Acci\u00f3n Sostenible) network<\/strong> continues to expand and has launched its first \u2018zero deforestation traceability\u2019 pilot. In addition, after 5 years of support, the collaboration with Conservaci\u00f3n Amaz\u00f3nica within the Yanayacu Maquia Conservation Concession (CCYM) has come to an end. This project has enabled the conservation of <strong>38,699 hectares of forest<\/strong> and has involved more than <strong>160 participants<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/li><li class=\"fusion-li-item\" style=\"\"><span class=\"icon-wrapper circle-no\"><i class=\"fusion-li-icon fa-angle-right fas\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><\/span><div class=\"fusion-li-item-content\">\n<p>In France, <strong>the SEVE project has strengthened its links with stakeholders<\/strong>, in particular with 70 forest owners interested in receiving specific support from Envol Vert and the R\u00e9seau pour les Alternatives Foresti\u00e8res. In addition, <strong>16 new agroforestry projects<\/strong> were supported under the Au Pr\u00e9 de Mes Arbres programme. A great deal of thought and experimentation was undertaken this year in order to overcome the high price of seedlings and <strong>ensure local supplies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/li><li class=\"fusion-li-item\" style=\"\"><span class=\"icon-wrapper circle-no\"><i class=\"fusion-li-icon fa-angle-right fas\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><\/span><div class=\"fusion-li-item-content\">\n<p>In Colombia, while a 4th and final nursery was being built in Socot\u00e1, reforestation activities of the dry forest preservation programme continued at the 4 partner sites. <strong>This year, the emphasis is on conservation activities and the development of economic alternatives to deforestation<\/strong>. Tamandua, the ethical brand serving local communities, has also made a strategic shift by investing in local markets on the Caribbean coast.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/li><li class=\"fusion-li-item\" style=\"\"><span class=\"icon-wrapper circle-no\"><i class=\"fusion-li-icon fa-angle-right fas\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><\/span><div class=\"fusion-li-item-content\">\n<p>In 2023, the <strong>Sumate al Bosque festival<\/strong> was once again organised bi-nationally between Peru and Colombia, in 5 cities at the same time, reaching almost 2,200 people. On the other side of the Atlantic, the <strong>FAGOT festival<\/strong> (Festival de l&#8217;Agroforesterie Occi&#8217;Tarnaise) was held for the first time to raise public awareness of agroforestry.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/li><li class=\"fusion-li-item\" style=\"\"><span class=\"icon-wrapper circle-no\"><i class=\"fusion-li-icon fa-angle-right fas\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><\/span><div class=\"fusion-li-item-content\">\n<p><strong>The Peruvian Forest Footprint<\/strong> was published in 2023 and amounts to 773m\u00b2.
