To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Envol Vert is launching a virtual platform that brings together all the lessons learned and methods implemented by the association in the field.
Since its creation, Envol Vert has been working in Colombia, Peru and France on conservation and restoration projects and economic alternatives to deforestation. Forest protection has always been a driving force for the association. It has worked with volunteer communities to set up forest protection mechanisms and economic compensation schemes through the development of diversified agroforestry systems and the processing of forest products.
After much hard work and learning, the time has come to share the methods and lessons learned over the past 10 years!
Spanish or French subtitles available
We invite you to browse our platform ‘The path to agroforestry – Developing community-based and sustainable projects’ (available in Spanish only) and discover our work through 10 key steps for developing a project. You will find general and technical topics such as ‘agroforestry systems’, ‘community work’, ‘sustainable economic alternatives’, ‘voluntary support’, etc.
In each section, you will find videos, infographics and a toolkit to download and put into practice in the field: a comprehensive resource for learning, sharing and gaining knowledge.
This platform is completely free and open access, and aims to enable organisations – mainly Latin American (or Spanish-speaking) ones – to strengthen their capacity to implement sustainable rural development projects.
« The forest helps us, so let’s help it! »
What are you waiting for to get started ?
We would like to thank all our partners for their support, in particular:
