2022 has brought us many more challenges. In view of the 6th IPCC report and the lack of reaction from companies and governments, we will have to continue to fight relentlessly.

A QUICK OVERVIEW:

  • In November 12 people from the coast and 3 people from Socotá travelled to the district of Nariño, at an altitude of 3,000m on the border with Ecuador, to better understand the activities implemented by the Pasto communities. The program included theoretical presentations and practical workshops, field visits, feedback on nurseries, restoration of ecological corridors, and transformation of natural products into economic alternatives.

  • In France, the SEVE  project was a real success with more than fifty forest owners interested in our support. The creation of a Citizens’ Forest Group (GFC) has sparked strong interest among locals.

  • In Péru, four economic alternatives were launched, with and for the communities. A long diagnostic work carried out over several years has made it possible to analyze the economic alternatives to deforestation that are most relevant and best welcomed by farmers and local populations.

  • On the side of Envol Vert’s internal organization, the year 2022 will have been marked by many achievements in Human Resources. The organisation has implemented its first salary policy allowing for a revaluation of wages based on fair and transparent criteria. Envol Vert has also taken a turn towards a self-governance system known as «Opale».

In this report, we summarize all our actions, present our financial report and the indicators that allow us to evaluate our work.

Thank you to all those who have contributed to its realization.
