Juan Carlos Valencia Molina

Juan Carlos is an animal science professional specialised in political communications. In 2023, he went back to school to study for a Master’s degree in forest management, use and conservation at the Universidad Distrital de Bogotá. He is mainly interested in popularising biodiversity, projects aimed at territorial sustainability and community work. He also has skills in creating narratives and communication strategies through design, photography and copywriting.

His professional experience covers the private sector, the public sector and non-governmental organisations. He is also involved in a family project linked to the agroforestry cultivation of cocoa and its processing into chocolate.

He is convinced that creativity and multidisciplinarity are key to the success of any conservation project.
