France Coordinator

After completing a Franco-Australian double degree in international business, Marion did an internship in Cambodia for a French NGO, working on rice-growing projects. Convinced of the need to change production and economic models on a global scale, she went on to study for a Masters 2 in Sustainable Agricultural Development and Food Security.

The course opened up new horizons for her, and she took up a post as agroforestry project manager in Haiti, which she held for 3 years. She brought her project management skills with her and learnt about tropical agriculture in the field, thanks to the expertise of her Haitian colleagues, particularly in the planting of mangroves, an energy forest and coffee agroforestry systems.

On her return to France, she joined a Fair Trade and CSR certification body. She held various positions for 6 years, including Operations Manager France and Audit Manager, where she ensured that audits were carried out throughout the world on economic, social and environmental issues.

In 2023, she decided to join Envol Vert as coordinator for France, in order to rediscover the militant aspect of her work. She was convinced by the association’s approach, which combines field expertise and advocacy, both in France and South America, and by the self-governance model chosen.
