Animator for the APMA (Au PrƩ de Mes Arbres) Project, France
NoƩmie holds a Masters degree in political science, more specifically in environmental risk management. Her aim is to anchor major global challenges in concrete, local projects.
Her career began with a year of exploration: from Japan, where she travelled around small-scale farms, to Italy, where she immersed herself in the roots of permaculture on the coast. She finally settled in the Tarn region of France.
Through her first experiences, NoĆ©mie realised that solutions to social and environmental crises already existed: all that remained was to give them the means to emerge. Driven by this conviction, she embarked on a practical, sustainable project to develop agroforestry in Occitanie thanks to Envol Vertās project Ā« Au prĆØs de mes arbres Ā». At the end of her 10-month contract, she will continue her work networking committed participants, convinced that it’s by forging links that we can accelerate change. In short, her mission is to oil the cogs that enable sustainable solutions to come to life.
Still a neophyte when it comes to trees and forests, she enjoys exploring the fascinating world of botany, or in other words: the value of putting pralinage on the roots of a shrub before planting it.
