The team of Envol Vert, together with the cofounder of the association, Boris Patentreger, presented the project ColomBIOdiversidad at the educational workshop of the WSCT – the World Summit on Climate and Territories – that took place in Lyon on 1-2 July. A panel of 40 countries and 150 registered participants were present in the plenary hall of Lyon’s Hotel of Regions.
It was an occasion to demonstrate how a campaign like “Trees talk to us” launched by Envol Vert in Paris, can go as far as Medellin and embrace the whole city, with a very large visibility, involving all the local stakeholders.
Envol Vert has also taken advantage of the occasion to remind of the importance of being aware of one’s forest footprint in order to reduce the deforestation and the emissions of greenhouse gases, thanks to the Forest workshop.
