Envol Vert met with both conference delegates and members of the general public at the COP21 talks
Envol Vert was present at the COP 21 as a representative for members of the general public, and we worked hard to raise awareness about the current challenges faced by those trying to protect the Earth’s forests. We had stands at the ‘Generation Climate’ space at the Paris Bourget site, at the ‘COP21 Solutions’ area, right alongside Alexis Tricoire’s mud hut at the Grand Palais, and at the pop-up space ‘If not us, then who?’
We as an association had our own stand at the ‘Generation Climate’ space, but we also worked with that of the Fondation Nicolas Hulot to make the public aware of what we do, our Forest Footprint tool and our ‘Tree Game’. We had around 800 visitors over the 10 days. We also had the opportunity to discuss what forests do for us in a talk hosted by the FSC and WWF. Watch the video here.
