In the case of the Piñuna Blanco indigenous community of Puerto Asís, there is a need to improve territorial control and governance. The indigenous guards claim that it is very difficult to access and be present in certain areas of the territory (the most remote and invaded) due to a lack of resources and a place to stay. For this reason, the project will specifically support ranger routes and complementary accessories (telecommunication equipment, signage, checkpoints, etc.).

On the other hand, young people express their lack of knowledge of the territory (wildlife zones, sacred areas), which requires intergenerational work with elders to achieve these knowledge sharing and zonings. This information will be transposed into tools such as talking maps using modern technologies (cartography, GPS, drawings), which will be disseminated as awareness-raising strategies outside the indigenous territory. In terms of economic alternatives, this area will focus on native bees or medicinal plants.
