SEVE project coordinator

After studying graphic design and architecture, Adrien worked in sales and logistics in Lyon, Paris and Toulouse.

In 2018, a revelation, he abandoned his formatted life on credit to embark on an adventure with his family. He headed for the Tarn mountains to buy an old shack and retrain as a small-scale market gardener. To bring richness and diversity to his plots and move towards greater self-sufficiency, he planted around thirty fruit trees of local varieties and began to take an interest in forgotten edible tree species (Alisier, Cormier, Cornouiller mâle, Sureau, Sorbier, Viorne Obier, Arbre aux faisans, etc.). This new passion and word-of-mouth led him and his wife into the arms of Envol Vert.

Thanks to the “Au pré de mes arbres” project, he developed his agroforestry project and, in 2022, organised the planting of 240 trees and shrubs on 4,000 m2 of his land.

More and more in love with Sidobre, the Monts de Lacaune and Caroux, he is committed to protecting this wild and fragile region. His links with Envol Vert are growing stronger. As a volunteer at events and workcamps, and as a member of the Groupement Forestier Citoyen (citizen forestry group) set up at the initiative of the “Seve” project, he appreciates the sincerity and humanity of the encounters made within the Envol Vert “network”.

Now an employee of the SEVE field project, Adrien is working hard to sow the seeds of a long-term vision for the forest and wood. Supporting, promoting, training and raising awareness of Continuous Cover Mixed Forestry are the tasks that take him all over the Haut Languedoc Regional Nature Park, meeting owners, woodcutters, sawyers and carpenters. A long and beautiful walk!
