Local coordinator en Iparia, Ucayali (Peru)

Brighitt is a forest engineer with over four years of experience managing projects focused on the restoration of degraded soils, ecosystem conservation, and the promotion of the bioeconomy. She has worked closely with rural and Indigenous communities in the regions of Ucayali, Pasco, and her hometown of Tingo María, supporting sustainable development initiatives and community empowerment.

In 2022, she served as regional coordinator in Tingo María for the NGO Envol Vert, where she shared knowledge, promoted conservation, and strengthened relationships with various communities and institutions. Since then, she has continued her work with different organizations, building solid expertise in socio-environmental projects and participatory work with local communities.

Currently based in Pucallpa, Brighitt is working alongside strategic partners such as FECONADIP and ORAU, with the aim of continuing to promote the conservation of the Amazon rainforest and sustainable development. Her work is guided by some strong values: humility, honesty, cooperation, and respect for women and Indigenous communities.
