Silvia Riggio

With a degree in foreign languages and a Master’s degree in international relations, Silvia has ten years of experience in finance and administration, acquired in private companies in Paris.

Committed to and active in the defence of human rights since her university days, her desire to work for a cause that is close to her heart and to combine her work with her principles, values and ethics led her to follow the training course in coordination of international solidarity projects at Bioforce in 2020.

After a brief experience in Mali in the field of finance, and various trips to Central America, South America and the West Indies, development projects and the defence of the environment and its biodiversity seemed to her of fundamental importance. She joined Envol Vert in September 2022, sharing the same conviction that the protection of the forest and its biodiversity must have a multi-sectoral approach (environmental, food, educational, economic). The involvement of local communities and the co-construction of projects are essential for a sustainable and conscious defence of the forest.
